10 things you can get away with now your pregnant!

Pregnancy If you are suffering from tiredness, sore back and boobs or morning sickness it may seem as if there are no benefits to being pregnant but there are some, apart from your baby!

You can get away with a lot more when pregnant, now I don’t want you all to become pathetic and moan constantly but there are a few little things you can get away with to make life a little easier.

Why not take it easy and take advantage while you can?

  • pregnant-woman-readingMaking the Dinner all the time.  Suddenly you feel very nauseous.
  • Holding back the tears when watching a slushy movie – its your hormones isn’t it?
  • Changing the cats littler tray.  There is toxoplasmosis to think about.
  • Queue jumping at public toilets.  “Excuse me, pregnant lady in need coming through”
  • Whole Day meetings and training sessions.  Suddenly you are very warm and need some fresh air.
  • Getting dressed at the weekend.  You are so tired after working all week you are allowed to slob in your pyjamas, watch telly and eat chocolate.  Remember it will be some time until you get to do it again!
  • After works drinks – you may miss having a glass of wine or two but not tequilla slammers and the hangovers.
  • Worrying about the latest shortest dress for your Christmas Parties – you will be glowing and the centre of attention any way.
  • Having to wear the highest heels and totter around all day.  Comfy pumps are now allowed.
  • Attending that “party” you have been dreading for months, suddenly you are feeling very tired.

Being pregnant means not having to iron, lets face it standing for any length of time when you're pregnant can lead to varicose veins.

I'm sure your other half wouldn't want you to spoil your drop dead gorgeous pins :)

  • Always getting the comfiest seat, lots of sympathy when you say you're tired / don't feel well, being grumpy and irritable (blame it on the hormones). Although in my experience you get away with far less in your third pregnancy than you do in your first!
